Fanfiction Recs
You shall find here a record of some of my all-time favorite fics. Aside from works in a series being grouped together, there is no specific order to the list. The stories themselves are not included here, only some of the metadata and summary (tags may have been amended and/or modified from the original for uniformity here), but you can access them by clicking the link in the title. You can also download a copy of the fic for free and in several formats directly from AO3 to read offline. If you prefer to browse by genre first, you can also head over here (TBA!) for the tag masterlist.
And don't forget to go leave a kudo and comment if you enjoyed a fic!
This page contains redirects to explicit stories: mind the tags and proceed at your own risks.
Batman
Jason Todd's Costco Sampler Of Hell by OberonBronze
(Part 1 of The Seven-Layer-Dip From Hell)
Jason enlists Tim to help him through the stages of a 48-hour fear toxin trip in exchange for a favour, on one condition — Tim can't call any of the bats for help, no matter what happens. Tim, thankfully, will do quite literally anything to get his family all under one roof again.
Tim Drake's Two-For-One Special Of Hell by OberonBronze
(Part 2 of The Seven-Layer-Dip From Hell)
Fear shoots through Jason's stomach like a bullet. No. No. It can't be. He feels Tim's forehead with a shaky hand. It's hot.
Or
It's Tim's turn with the 48-hour fear toxin. Jason is wholly unprepared.
Heart. Lungs. Blood. Nerves. by LiterallyThePresident
Kon's voice was hushed, frenetic, his entire focus on the bird in his arms, as if nothing else existed in the entire world but Robin, Robin, Robin.
"Heart. Lungs. Blood. Nerves. Heart. Lungs. Blood. Nerves. Heart. Lungs. Blood. Nerves. Heart. Lungs-" Kon was holding him together, Clark realized with a sickening clench in his chest. Kon was using his TTK to keep all of Robin's organs and blood inside where it was supposed to be. Kon was keeping his heart pumping, his lungs breathing, his blood flowing, his nerves deadened against the agony.
Kon was holding Robin's life in his hands in a very literal sense.
Clark felt sick.
The Long Way Home by itsnathalie
With Jason tentatively back in the Batfamily, things are going pretty well for him—except for the whole thing with Tim. But who gives a shit about Tim Drake?
But when Jason and Tim are pulled into a frightening race for their lives inside a labyrinth that's out to kill them, they may have to look past their differences just to stay alive. Maybe along the way, they'll discover they aren't as different as they thought, and family comes in many different forms.

Hawaii Five-0
Glorious by Indehed
(Part 1 of Glorious)
The recently crowned King Steven II of Hawaii is rumored to be traveling and no one knows where his ship is headed until a messenger arrives in the Kingdom of New Jersey bearing news of his arrival. But why would the new king want his first foreign trip to be to New Jersey? It's revealed that the king is looking for a consort and his chosen omega, Prince Daniel, is less than impressed. But King Steven is determined to win the Prince around and makes him an offer: give him one week to make his case and if by the end of that time the Prince still isn't interested, then the King will return to Hawaii alone.
One week of courtship seemed like a fair deal. After all, it's not like Daniel was going to change his mind...
The Awakening by Cattraine
(Part 1 of Feral)
The world news called the virus the 'Berserker Virus' because, like the rabies virus, it affected the brain and drove its victims mad.
(Part 2: Wolf in Sheep's Clothing, Part 3: Honeymoon, Part 4: Honey Trap)
Merlin
Breaking Steel by Clxarke
In the context of their lives, Merlin was the least of anyone’s worries.
But Arthur knew there was more. He could feel it. It dawned on him one afternoon that Merlin, though an aggravatingly book at times, revealed startlingly little about himself.
How much did he really know about Merlin?
Shadowlord and Pirate King by Footloose
(Part 1 of Shadowlord and Pirate King)
A fast ship, a good crew, a treasure, a Clan to lead – that's all Arthur Pendragon has ever wanted. He sits on the Council, he supports his father's kingship, and he keeps an eye on the Imperial Conglomerate when they come too close to Pirate space.
One day the Conglomerate infiltrates the Clans and poisons the King. Arthur must search for a cure to keep his father alive and the Clans from civil war.
An escape route, a sharp knife, a target, the shadows at his command – that's all Merlin has ever needed. He fulfills his assignments, he uses the Sterling to sustain his once-royal House in their exile, and wages a private war against the Imperial Conglomerate.
When he learns of an elaborate plot to assassinate him, Merlin does the opposite of what's expected. He flees onto a Pirate ship.
There's a saying among the Pirates: that one's fate is written in the stars. Destiny will always set to rights what has been made wrong.
Arthur and Merlin know that they were meant for the other from the moment they meet. They can feel it from across the galaxies separating them. Nothing can stop them from being together or from fulfilling an ancient prophecy.

Moving Out of the Closet by Sinnatious
Original Works
Icarus, Burning by aladyinbooks
(Part 1 of Across the Universe)
"I could devour you," Samiel says gently, and Jay can feel the heat of his words sinking into his translator. "Won't you let me, pretty human? I'd make it ever so good for you." His voice is intimate, filthy; that of a lover. Of a predator that has caught its prey.
Or:
Wing Commander Jason Lane is doing his best. He's got a political coup to stop; a peace treaty to negotiate; half a planet out to kill him and - oh yes, Samiel.
Always, Samiel.
Tales of the Interior Circle by aladyinbooks
(Part 2 of Across the Universe)
It is illogical, he knows. The visceral reaction to the mastery of Jason's words, to the rain-slick pink of his lips, and the razor sharpness of his mind is not rational.
And yet.
And yet he wants, in a way he never has before meeting this human.
A collection of oneshots from the Icarus, Burning universe. Some smutty, some not. Mostly M/M, with an occasional deviation into M/F. No real prior knowledge is necessary, further warnings at the start of each chapter.
Path to Paradise by aladyinbooks
Dan shivers, can't help himself. Dumb, animal fear, and he wants to bare his throat to it. "What are you-"
"I promised," Hess whispers. "I promised. But just this, alright? It'll be like it never happened." He slides a step nearer, the pressure of his fingers hard and greedy. "It won't matter."
After the apocalypse doesn't quite happen, Daniel Waters is just trying to return to his nice, quiet life. What he gets instead is a new neighbour. Hess is friendly, charming and working with demons. He's also strangely familiar.
There are gaps in Dan's memory, but that doesn't seem to matter. They say the devil always looks after his own, and apparently?
Well, apparently Dan belongs to the devil.
Devil in Disguise by Shadeoflight
When Captain Andrew Winter, part of the human rebellion against their Rallian oppressors, runs into a trap and finds himself on board a Rallian ship as their captive, he's forced to learn some things about himself he never wanted to know - like the fact that Raveon, the Commander of the large Rallian spaceship, is not just dangerous and his worst enemy, but also far more fascinating and alluring than is good for Andrew's peace of mind...
Rarely Pure by aladyinbooks
“I remember the taste of your skin,” he says hoarsely, “and the curve of your lips. I remember the way I looked at you in the dying light of the sun. I wanted to tear the galaxy apart with my bare hands and give it to you, if you would only let me keep you. I wanted to live in your heartbeat. In your blood.”
When Hiraeth Terai is sent to kill a whore, he assumes the job will be simple. But Damas Kyrion is not at all the usual type of hetairos, and the secrets he holds could burn planets.
As if that wasn't enough of a problem, there's also the way he seems familiar.
So familiar, in fact, that all Hiraeth wants to do is keep him.
Whether Damas agrees to it, or not.
The S-Classes That I Raised
hitchhiker by yiyuehua
The hitchhiker is a man dressed to the nines with a fitted shirt, a satin tie, golden cufflinks. There’s gilded embroidery on his blazer, fresh blood on his sleeves. There's an aggravating smile tugging up his lips.
“Car trouble?” the man asks.
Han Yoojin returns a smile. Read in between the lines. Han Yoojin insinuates to fuck off.
